Baker Street Quarter Partnership

About

Baker Street Quarter Partnership was established in April 2013 to bring a newfound purpose and focus to the Baker Street and Marylebone area. It was founded by a core group of businesses in the area and now represent over 160 to drive forward positive change to create a thriving and prosperous community for everyone.

Its overall aim is to create a quality environment in which to work and live, a vibrant area to visit and a profitable place to do business. Its long-term projects and area management initiatives seek to improve the area for the benefit of all and our support and promotion of businesses will ensure the area continues to thrive.

The Quarter

The Quarter centres on Baker Street and also includes George Street, Manchester Square, Chiltern Street and Blandford Street. From North to South it spans from Baker Street Station to Portman Square.
The work it does is centred on three areas:

  • Creating a high quality public realm
  • Representing and promoting the area and its businesses
  • Establishing a premier business hub

The Portman Estate is a founder business member and our Strategic Projects Director Simon Loomes, is Chairman. Our involvement enables us to work closer with our neighbouring businesses and colleagues and the Quarter's work will bring endless benefits for us as a collective. The Food Market

Baker Street Quarter Partnership holds a monthly food market, bringing together restaurants and hoteliers in the Quarter with independent traders to showcase a wide selection of world foods. It is open to all and is a fantastic way to enjoy what the Quarter has to offer. During spring and summer the market takes place in Portman Square Garden and the Atrium of 55 Baker Street is its autumn and winter venue.
